NMP Somatic Education
Repattern your body through natural movement.
Neuro-Muscular Patterning

NMP -NeuroRhythm™
Take somatic movement off the floor.
Explore rhythm, coordination, balance, and functional movement.
What is NeuroRhythm?
NeuroRhythm™ is the dynamic movement branch of NMP Somatics™.
Building on the awareness developed through NeuroReset™ and the integrated movement patterns of NeuroFlow™, NeuroRhythm™ explores rhythm, coordination, balance, locomotion, and whole-body movement in motion.
Using somatic principles, students learn new movement patterns with awareness and curiosity. Movements are often explored slowly at first, giving the motor cortex time to recognize and organize the pattern. As the movement becomes more familiar, the cerebellum helps refine timing, coordination, rhythm, and automatic movement.
Classes may include rhythmic movement, walking patterns, balance challenges, cross-body coordination, movement sequences, and creative exploration designed to improve adaptability, efficiency, and confidence in movement.
This is not about performing movement perfectly.
It is about learning to move with greater ease, coordination, adaptability, and freedom.
Students may:
• improve balance and coordination
• develop rhythm and timing
• explore new movement patterns
• enhance body awareness in motion
• increase movement confidence and adaptability
• experience the joy of moving well

Why NeuroRhythm Matters
Many patterns of tension and effort reveal themselves most clearly when we are upright, moving, shifting weight, and coordinating rhythm.
NeuroRhythm™ brings NMP principles into dynamic movement — helping students notice where they brace, rush, collapse, overwork, or lose coordination.
These are not simply structural issues.
They are learned neuromuscular habits.
Through rhythm, balance, timing, cross-body coordination, and guided sensory awareness, students learn to slow down, reorganize, and refine movement patterns from the inside out.
As coordination improves, posture, ease, and confidence in movement can follow.
Exploring Movement Through Rhythm
NeuroRhythm™ takes somatic awareness into dynamic movement.
Students explore rhythm, timing, coordination, balance, locomotion, weight shifting, cross-body patterning, and dance-inspired movement — always within comfort and always with awareness.
Some movements may be slowed down so the motor cortex can recognize and organize the pattern. As the movement becomes more familiar, the cerebellum helps refine rhythm, timing, coordination, and automatic movement.
This is not about performing movement perfectly.
It is about learning how the nervous system and body work together to create movement that feels more coordinated, adaptable, efficient, and alive.
What a NeuroRhythm™ Class May Include
• Rhythmic movement sequences
• Balance and timing exploration
• Weight shifting and locomotion patterns
• Coordinated arm and leg patterning
• Cross-body movement
• Dance-inspired movement
• Creative movement exploration
• Always within comfort
As with all NMP classes:
There is no forcing.
No rigid alignment rules.
No pressure to perform.
Each movement is an invitation to reorganize from within.
