Module 4 — NMP Somatics™
The Bridge: Assisted Work + Integration
(MySoma Flow)
Module 4 is an in-person intensive that bridges the core NMP Somatics™ teacher pathway into deeper facilitation and applied integration. You’ll learn assisted pandiculation and body image training, and you’ll also study breathing and walking lessons adapted from Thomas Hanna’s work—building practical skills you can use to support clearer movement, regulation, and functional carryover.

Format: In-Person Only
Length: 2-day intensive
Focus: Assisted pandiculation + body image training + breathing + walking integration
Outcome: Advanced facilitation skills + eligibility to teach MySoma Flow (with guidelines) + bridge into future clinical and specialization pathways (in development)
Best for: Graduates of Module 3 who want in-person assisted skills and deeper integration work
Overview
Module 4 advances the NMP Somatics™ teacher-training pathway through in-person learning and hands-on skill-building. This module is designed to deepen the practical application of sensory-motor learning by introducing assisted pandiculation and body image training—skills that require live observation, feedback, and supervised practice.
Across this intensive, you’ll learn how assisted work can support awareness, improve neuromuscular timing, and help students find clearer release patterns while remaining fully participatory. Assisted pandiculation in NMP Somatics™ involves light, fully clothed external contact and minimal resistance used only to support voluntary contraction and controlled release. The participant initiates all movement, and the work does not involve passive stretching, tissue manipulation, or therapist-driven force.

Module 4 also includes breathing and walking lessons adapted from Thomas Hanna’s work to support functional integration and carryover into daily movement. You’ll practice how to cue, position, and support students safely and ethically, and you’ll leave with a stronger understanding of how this work bridges into future clinical applications and specialization tracks (in development).

Note: Module 4 is open to graduates of Module 3. Level 1 Certification (Final Project) may be completed when you’re ready, after your logged teaching practice.
